Why Plant a Tree?
Trees For Goshen is a non-profit organization created to help increase and care for Goshen’s urban forest. Urban forests are comprised of street trees, trees and forests in park land, and trees on other public and private property. While City funds provide a basic level of care for public trees, Trees For Goshen works to care for trees on both public AND private property. Trees For Goshen empowers the citizens of Goshen to be actively involved in this mission. Trees For Goshen provides administrative structure, practical connections, and important education to make this possible. Neighborhood tree planting projects are one part of this overall effort. Trees For Goshen is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and contributions are tax deductible. What is Trees for Goshen’s mission?
